Free Shipping offer is limited to standard shipping items with greater than $75 purchased to a single address within the 48 continental United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will incur an additional surcharge. For orders to multiple addresses, each address must have a minimum of $75 in deliveries to qualify for the promotion. Free shipping offer does not apply to case purchases or to orders receiving volume discounts. Ghirardelli is not responsible for late shipments due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Liability for shipments delayed by FedEx for non-weather related conditions will be limited to a refund of the shipping costs.

Shipment Addresses

Regretfully, we cannot ship to international destinations or P.O. boxes.  All shipments are sent via FedEx and can only be delivered to a street address within the United States. Shipments are delivered Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. FedEx does not deliver on weekend days and weekends are not incuded in shipping estimates. Signature confirmation and Saturday delivery are available for an extra charge, please call 888-402-6262 to make arrangements. Shipments returned due to an incorrect shipping address will require an additional charge for reshipment. Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries if the business is closed or not available to receive the package when delivered.

Delayed Shipments

If you wish to receive your order at a later date you may select a target arrival date when checking out. The dates listed during checkout correspond to shipments leaving that day, if you request a later date your shipment will be held until that date regardless of the estimated date shown at checkout. Every effort will be made to meet your arrival date, however, orders may arrive slightly early and cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact date unless priority overnight shipping is selected.

Shipment Deadline

Priority overnight shipments must be received by 11:00 am PST to guarantee shipment on the same day.  Orders received after this time or on the weekends will be shipped during the next business day.
